MBA Degree Career Networking and Advising
Marist College maintains a robust schedule of academic, professional, and social networking opportunities for MBA graduate degree students and alumni throughout the year. Build confidence while interacting with various companies at career fairs, get to know the different types of corporate culture while developing an understanding of what type of company is a good fit for you. Attend interview seminars and take advantage of resources to help you learn how to dress and prepare for an interview.
As a graduate student earning your MBA degree, career services and advisement is an ongoing process. From selecting your MBA degree concentration to evaluating the direction of your career, formulating your resume and preparing for interviews, our career services and advisement staff are here to assist you every step of the way with developing your career goals.
For MBA alumni, even after receiving your MBA degree, career development is a lifelong process. Marist College's MBA alumni can take advantage of all the career services and advisement resources Marist College has to offer. Your career development needs do not have to end with graduation. MBA alumni can take advantage of resources as their careers evolve. Alumni can also partner with career services to share their professional experiences and career advice with current MBA graduate students.
Events are organized by the School of Management, Student Affairs, and the Alumni Affairs Office and are held on the Poughkeepsie campus, at various locations around the country, and online. All MBA Master's degree students and alumni are encouraged to participate and suggest appropriate programming.
While Marist College's MBA degree program does not contain an internship requirement, career advising and development services are available through both the School of Management and the Center for Career Services. Both offices maintain a robust listing of employment and internship opportunities as well as alumni volunteers who are available to speak with students about career planning.
